Do not assume CARICOM Skills Certificate holders can work in The Bahamas without a permit — they cannot; this is the one CARICOM state where that shortcut does not apply.

No public list of approved/sponsoring employers exists — verification of a specific employer's status has to be done directly with the Department of Immigration. No single national qualifications-recognition authority is published; recognition runs profession-by-profession through each regulatory council.

Government jobs and settlement

Public-service vacancies run through the Office of the Prime Minister's Opportunity Hub; settlement covers VAT/TIN registration through Inland Revenue and social contributions through the National Insurance Board.
