Engineering Export Promotion Council — apex body for Indian engineering goods exports. Issues COO for engineering goods.
EEPC India calls itself “the premier trade and investment promotion organisation in India”, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and serving the Indian engineering sector. Its own framing is historical and gives the scale of the sector it represents: it “has been the Face of Indian Engineering exports over a span of 70+ years when India grew from a meagre $10 million engineering export nation in 1950s to USD 122.43 billion (Apr 2025-March 2026)”, and it describes itself as “regarded as the model EPC in India by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry”. Read it for what an export promotion council is and does — membership services, buyer–seller meets, trade fairs, policy representation — rather than as a regulator. An EPC sponsors and promotes; it does not license.
