For founders

Hand-authored path · written 5 August 2026

Micro, small and medium enterprises are about 90% of all businesses on Earth and carry 60–70% of employment (UN figures for MSME Day; accessed 5 August 2026) — which is to say: founding something small is not the exception economy, it is the economy. Founders drown in advice and starve for reference. This estate leans reference. Here is the founder’s route through it: one operating system, one vocabulary, and a set of directories that answer the questions that otherwise cost a consultant’s retainer.

1 · Run the build against Founder OS

Founder OS is the estate’s company-building reference: 24 skill domains laid across 7 phases, from the pre-idea groundwork to the systems a grown company runs on, with frameworks, metrics and templates at each station. Use it the way pilots use a checklist — not because you do not know how to fly, but because sequence and completeness are exactly what a stressed mind drops first. Most founders discover they are strong in four domains and have never consciously visited the other twenty; the map is the diagnosis.

2 · Take the vocabulary seriously

Every negotiation you will ever sit in is conducted in terms someone else may understand better than you. The business library — 2,730 concepts, plain English, cross-linked — is the cheapest insurance against that asymmetry. The founder’s pattern: before any consequential meeting, read the three to five entries the meeting will turn on, then hit Draft a report or Checklist in the chat bar and walk in with structure. When your growth story crosses a border, the trade desk is the library’s trade wing and the landing point for the corridor, FTA, port and SEZ families as they return to the estate.

3 · Ask the directories, not the search engine

Market-entry questions have a habit of being entity questions in disguise, and entity questions are what the intel directories are for. Who regulates, certifies or lobbies in my sector, and who do I talk to in a market I have never visited? — 1,349 trade bodies, filterable by country and category, with India-relevance flagged. Which economies are even plausible for the first international expansion? — the country atlas puts 161 economies’ population, GDP, currency, blocs and sector notes in one sortable table, and each name clicks through to a full country profile. Is there an agreement that drops the tariff between here and there? — the FTAs directory, 273 records with status and dates, plus 68 chapter deep-dives where the details bite. What do the flows actually look like? — the corridors directory carries trade value, growth and sea transit time per corridor, and the cities directory holds India’s 91 industrial cities in depth for anyone siting an operation.

4 · Price the macro before it prices you

The market desk keeps the figures a founder is most often ambushed by — the rupee against the majors, growth, inflation, trade openness — from European Central Bank and World Bank series, sourced and dated on the page. It will not forecast for you; it will stop a stale number from anchoring a live decision. For pattern recognition rather than numbers, the case studies and active mandates show real engagements, and the nomad-solopreneurship feature covers the one-person-company variant of all of the above. The long-form argument for building across borders lives in the narrative — start with Business and Trade.

5 · Borrow the satellites when they fit

Two estate satellites earn a founder’s bookmark. AFG Business is the plain-language wing — starting up, marketing and sales, business money, operations, selling online, import-export — useful the day you delegate a function to someone who has never run it. AFG SaaS teaches the unglamorous skill its front page promises — read a pricing page like a contract — before the renewal traps in your stack compound. And when you need a landing page more than a lecture, Live Vibe Coding turns a plain-language description into a deployable site you can ship to your own domain.

The short version

The founder path, one line each

Audit yourself against Founder OS → pre-read the meeting’s concepts in the library → answer entry questions from trade bodies, the atlas and the FTA records → check the macro at the market desk → go deeper at the trade desk when goods start moving. The exporter path continues from there.
